Turning over a new leaf

Ah, yes. I am alive. I have been away for, oh, a year it seems. I graduated from Sweet Briar, and did not get into Law School. But I'm actually very relieved by the last part. I'm currently looking for a job, but am enjoying a summer break.

I've been watching tons of movies since I've been home. Right now, I'm watching the classic Gilda staring Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford. I found this to be a perfect time to catch up on the films that I studied at school.

Well, I will report more tomorrow. I just wanted to post something today. I will leave you with favorites for the day...

Movie of the Day: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Johnny Depp and purple velvet...I don't think I need to say more.

Song of the Day: Miami by Taking Back Sunday. Their new album Louder Now is the best release by this gaggle (oh yeah, I said gaggle) of Long Island post-punk rockers. Check it out.
